Description |
RESIKON 400 is a modified acrylic polymer in emulsion form. It is an excellent material for repair and rehabilitation of different types of structures. RESIKON 400 can be added in cement mortar as well
as in structural concrete. It is an admixture for high performance polymeric cementitious mortar and concrete. When used of repair work, it has excellent bonding properties with improved flexure strength in addition
to superior bond strength. It reduces permeability and offers very good resistance to chloride penetration thus preventing the corrosion of reinforcement in the structural members.
Investigations for quality parameters of RESIKON 400 were conducted by the National Council for Cement and Building Materials. RESIKON 400 is a useful polymer for addition in cement mortar/concrete as repair and bonding material. In improves flexure strength and bond strength of polymer modified cement mortar and concrete. In reduces chloride ingress and water absorption, which are sources of corrosion of reinforcement. It can also be used as water proofing material when mixed with cement mortar. |
|
Usage | Modified acrylic polymer - Excellent bonding between old and new concrete surfaces. Permeability reduction.Improved flexural strength. | |
Water Proofing System |
RESIKON 400 is also used in water proofing system. It is mixed in mortar which is
applied over flexible water-proof sandwich layer using RESIKON 800. |
